Basic Rules
KART Build
4 Teams need to assemble the Karts within an allotted time ready for the Time Trials; Assemble the Chassis; Attach Seat; Attach Mudguards; Attach Wheels; Attach Brake; Attach Rope Steering; Decorate the Karts

Once assembled the Karts will pass through scrutineering and be taken to ‘Death Alley’ for individual Team testing and Time Trialling.  Each Team can then select their fastest drivers for the Final Time trial Event later in the day.

The Final Event will be an hour long session and each team will have at least 2 runs.  The run times will be added together to give the Teams overall time.  The Team with the Fastest Time wins.

• All entrants (NO ADULTS!! Sorry) must have helped build the cart.
• Cart are all of a standard design, i.e. 4 wheels - one at each corner
• Steering is up to you, as is braking systems!
• Must be a safe construction - we do check!!
• Must be able to exit within 30 seconds - we do check.
• Protective Headgear must be worn, plus any additional protection -
• Gloves, pads, solid footgear especially if part of your braking system!

Vicarage lane becomes the infamous Death Alley, be prepared....
It runs from the pit area outside September cottage, the full length of this bumpy lane to the field gate at the bottom.  There will be a chicane (check your steering).  It is a rough tarmac surface complete with ruts and pot holes.  It will be Straw baled for protection on one side, with the hedgerow on the other.
We will have first aid on hand.
